Experience a unique fusion of flavors with the Rose & Cardamom Wheyskey Sour. This cocktail blends the rich, oaky notes of Wheyward Wheyskey with the bright zest of lemon juice, enhanced by an aromatic Cardamom Bay Leaf simple syrup. A touch of rose water adds a floral finish, infusing the drink with a hint of Indian-inspired elegance.
2 oz Wheyward Wheyskey
3/4 oz lemon juice
3/4 oz of Cardamom Bay Leaf simple syrup
1/2 oz rose water
Combine ingredients and shake with ice. Strain into glass with crushed ice. Garnish with rose petals.
Cardamom Bay Leaf simple syrup:
4 oz sugar
4 oz water
12 cracked cardamom pods
6 bay leaves (fresh or dry)
Add all ingredients to a pot and bring to a boil, then turn down the heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Strain and store in an airtight container. Syrup can keep refrigerated for up to one month.
