Smokey N’ Salted

Complex and sippable with natural flavor and body, our signature flavors are defined by oaky hints of vanilla and warm spice, followed by a velvety smooth finish.

Smokey N’ Salted

The Smokey N' Salted is the perfect cocktail to shake up on a warm summer day! Batch the homemade Salted Cucumber Syrup ahead of time for a smooth and refreshing drink rounded out with a mezcal kick.

1 1/2 oz Wheyward Spirit

1/2 oz Mezcal

1 oz fresh lime juice

1 oz Salted Cucumber Syrup

Garnish: Orange peel, thin cucumber ribbon, Tajin spicy salt rim, or kosher salt rim

Rim glass with Tajin or a mixture of Tajin and kosher salt. Set aside. 

Measure the Wheyward Spirit, mezcal, juice, and syrup into a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into prepared glass filled with fresh ice. Espress orange peel oil over drink, twist and add to drink. Garnish with cucumber.

Salted Cucumber Syrup 

Makes about 30 ounces 

‍

1 1/2 cups water

2 cups sugar

1/2 English cucumber with skin on, cut in large chunks (about 1 cup)

1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt

‍

Puree ingredients in a blender, and then strain with a fine mesh strainer. Bottle and store refrigerated up to 5 days. Shake well before serving.

We partnered with Sonoma Syrup Co. to craft a fall-inspired drink with their delicious White Ginger Syrup.. Our “farm-to-flask” spirit makes for a perfect pairing alongside this sustainably sourced, “Farm to Flavor” infused simple syrup.

For a refreshing burst of ginger and citrus, we've partnered up with The Ginger People® for The 20/20 cocktail! The oaky notes and hint of vanilla in Wheyward Spirit pair perfectly with this cocktail's herbal brightness and touch of sweet earthiness from the added carrot.

‘Tis the season for creamy Milk Punch and extra creamy Eggnog! Shake up either one of these delectable holiday cocktail creations with the natural creaminess and smoothness of Wheyward Spirit. 


Milk Punch & Nog

Our four-ingredient Alpine Daiquiri is a flavorful and bespoke twist on the classic cocktail with the addition of Falernum, a liqueur with a Caribbean flair.


Alpine Daiquiri

For a bespoke twist on an iconic Sazerac, Wheyward Spirit combines with simple syrup, the essential Peychaud’s BItters, and a quick absinthe rise for a bold, spirit-forward drink.

Stirred & Strong

This cocktail is not just a drink; it’s a homage to Caravaggio’s "Basket of Fruit”. Each sip is like a brushstroke, lending the rich, dark sweetness of figs with the tartness of pomegranate, all grounded by Wheyskey’s warmth. The egg white adds a smooth, painterly texture, reminiscent of the way light plays across Caravaggio’s fruits.
