Complex and sippable with natural flavor and body, our signature flavors are defined by oaky hints of vanilla and warm spice, followed by a velvety smooth finish.

Liquid Gold Rush

Our riff on a Penicillin cocktail, the Liquid Gold Rush is a smokey and earthy blend of ginger, lemon, and honey that is bursting with flavor.

2 oz Wheyward Spirit

¼ oz Fresh or Bottled Ginger Juice

½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice

1 oz Honey Syrup*

Dash of Mezcal (optional)

Juice the ginger and the lemon. Add Wheyward Spirit, juice and honey syrup into a shaker with ice and shake. Strain and pour on to a large ice cube in rocks glass. Add dash of mezcal to float and garnish with a candied ginger.

*Honey Syrup 

½ cup honey (can adjust to taste)

½ cup water

  1. Add ingredients into a small saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir until honey is dissolved.
  3. Allow to cool and transfer to an airtight container. Syrup will keep refrigerated for up to 1 month.

Each sip is like a brushstroke, lending the rich, dark sweetness of figs with the tartness of pomegranate, all grounded by Wheyskey’s warmth. Wheyward Spirit’s sustainability efforts don’t stop with the spirit. The Waste Not Sour reflects our values of upcycling and reducing food waste whenever possible by using aquafaba in place of egg whites, and zesting lemon for garnish before using the fresh juice. The result is a creamy, foamy, and sustainable cocktail so you can feel good about what’s in your glass down to the last drop.
