The New Era

We’re all about elevating classic cocktails to a new level, and our New Era is no exception. A bespoke and more sustainable twist on an Old Fashioned, the New Era boasts notes of orange, cherry, and spice with an earthy, oaky finish that’s perfect for sipping.

2 oz Wheyward Wheyskey

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp water

3 dashes Angostura Bitters

Orange peel

‍

Place sugar, bitters, and water into a mixing glass. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add ice and Wheyskey, and stir until chilled. Strain into a chilled rocks glass with a large ice cube. Express orange oil over the glass and garnish with the peel.

This cocktail offers a fresh take on the classic Carajillo, blending the bold flavors of Wheyskey with rich espresso to create a drink with a deep coffee and creamy wood profile. It is crowned with a light, vanilla-forward custard foam that adds a soft, sweet contrast to the strong coffee base.

For a bespoke twist on an iconic Sazerac, Wheyward Spirit combines with simple syrup, the essential Peychaud’s BItters, and a quick absinthe rise for a bold, spirit-forward drink.

With an unconventional spirit comes an unconventional martini! Spice up your standard martini with a lemon and pepper-infused vermouth for a delicious and bespoke twist on a classic.

For a fresh take on a classic 75 cocktail, substitute a bright and festive Cranberry Tangerine syrup instead of a standard simple syrup. You can shake up this drink throughout the seasons by substituting different berries and citrus.
